Current News:
The activity fee for volleyball is $75.00. By participating in three two-hour long fundraising activities players can have the fee waived. Each two-hour acivity will decrease your fee by $25.00, so spread the word and get involved!
With FOUR HOME GAMES this season, the team needed volunteers to be a scoreboard operator, score keeper, and announcer at each match. Community members quickly stepped up to help. Scott Leighton will be this season's announcer.
A player handbook has now been distributed. All team members should have a copy. If you don't, contact Coach Hasch.
During the month of September, players and families need to collect items for October's Calendar Raffle Fundraiser. The way this fundraiser works is that people buy raffle tickets. Then on each day in October, a ticket is drawn for the day's prize. Prizes can be gift certificates for food or a service or any item of at least a $25 value. Each player has been asked to fill one day. With 31 players, we need 100% participation to fill the 31 days in October. Any help would also be appreciated. The Boosters have a letter available from the school for businesses that require it. If you have any questions or a particular business in mind please contact Judy Curtis or phone her at (207) 829-4756. Please Note: The Raffle is now closed and tickets are being drawn for each day. Click here to see the prize and winner for each day.
The July 20th Car Wash was a BIG success! We raised $650.00.
Remember - our fundraising goal for this year is $4050.00. This amount is needed to pay for transportation costs for away games and to provide a small coach's stipend. With all of your enthusiastic help this summer, we are well on our way to meeting our goal! Let's keep up the pace to success!
The Bottle Drive Fundraiser has been quite successful. At last count (as of 08/19/02), a total of $800 has been raised. The grand total will be posted shortly, as the last two events have not been tallied. Check out the amount of bottles collected at one event alone below.
